1 Year Part Time

An initial 2 week - training block including the 2-day Mentor Training Event.
A full time 3-week block of training at UCLan, followed by 12 study days over the year to be held at UCLan.
Workplace training in an approved orthodontic practice or department, with the Specialist Orthodontist or Consultant Orthodontist acting as the workplace clinical Mentor/Trainer.

Part time: 3 years

A structured 7 day programme designed to give the clinical and non-clinical skills required to perform high level minimally invasive restorative & aesthetic dental therapy.

There is a pre-requisite of having attended the Totally Composite course (£1000 - for 2 days) prior to day four of the Totally Aesthetics course to ensure everyone is at the same level to enable us to build on it at rapid pace.

Online Course For Hygienists & Therapists

This course will be an introduction to Implant Treatment Coordination. Dental professionals will
learn the important values and skills required for successful Specialist Treatment Coordination (STC),
through a series of interactive training, presentations and workshops throughout the day.

This Course is for Hygienists and Therapists new to Conscious Sedation or those requiring a fully accredited conscious sedation course. It is now mandatory for all practitioners new to conscious sedation to undertake an IACSD accredited course followed by a period of mentored cases to gain certification. This course is fully IACSD accredited and covers all your requirements to lead to independent practice for new sedation practitioners. As Hygienists and Therapists you can administer inhalation sedation for your own patients and it is an ideal solution for the treatments you carry out on your anxious patients. You cannot administer Intravenous Sedation but you should understand the theory behind it which is covered in full on this course also.

12 DAYS

This course will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out prescribing and interpreting radiographs within their scope of practice.

How to undertake a full clinical examination for Occlusion and treatment Planning in relevance to occlusion.
